Construction:
• Solid hard wood (poplar) exterior case — no veneers
• Choice of beaded or smooth composite side panels (MDF) — a superior building material for painted furniture, MDF is stable, accepts paint nicely and resists movement with changes in temperature and humidity.
• Recessed plywood back — back nests inside grooved leg for a cleaner appearance
• Four corner English dovetail drawers with solid hardwood drawer front — drawer boxes constructed of full dimension (3/4" thick) solid pine with 1/4" plywood bottom Click here for picture
• Epoxy euro-glide drawer slides — extension slides rated to 100 lbs per drawer
• European cup hinges — nickel plated self closing hinges open to 110 degrees
• Water based acrylic lacquer finish — our finishing process involves a primer coat and two coats of lacquer for a durable and lasting finish
